Here at the MOVE ‘n’ GROOVE Dance Studio we provide a fun, friendly, non competitive relaxed
atmosphere with a strong emphasis on the nurturing and understanding
of all of our students individual dance abilities*.

We believe we can provide the perfect environment here on the Central Coast
to learn how to dance whilst always making every student feel that they belong.

As a family owned & operated business (and as a mother myself) we believe that
parents should have the choice of sending their child/ren to a dance school that doesn’t cost
the Earth, that doesn’t revolve around competition but still provides quality teaching.

FABULOUS ‘LOW COST’
END OF YEAR CONCERT

          At the end of each year we have three fantastic & very affordable locally held concerts
(one for each of our 3 studios). Our concerts provide students with an opportunity to
strut their stuff up on a big stage & their families & friends a chance to watch
just how clever their loved one(s) is/are for a very low entry cost.

Please note that whilst performing in the concert is encouraged it is certainly not compulsory.
We still welcome students to participate in our weekly classes even if they do not intend to perform at the end of the year.

 

WHAT STYLES DO WE TEACH?

The dance styles that we mainly focus on are:

JAZZ AND HIP HOP

However we do teach alternative styles such as MODERN, CONTEMPORARY & DISCO to our SENIOR & LADIES classes for one of their performance routines if either or both groups choose to do so.
eg: 1x Jazz, 1x Hip Hop, 1x Modern

LATIN, LATIN AMERICAN, ROCK & ROLL AND BALLROOM

We also offer a little bit of DISCO & NEW VOGUE to our LATIN & BALLROOM classes.
